Exciting Apartment News!

Well, I just got an email from the building manager for the apartment I have applied for, and my current landlord finally got back to her about me. So, "unofficially" she says, we can begin to move forward with my renting process. Woohoo!!

The apartment is very small, about the size of my current living room with a bathroom and closets on one side and a kitchen on the other, so I will have to do a lot of purging before I move. But, it is an old building (which is one of the first things I look for) with hard wood floors and...A Claw Foot Bathtub! That is something I have always wanted. It has a controlled access entry and although it is on the first floor, it does not look out right onto street level. Heat and water is paid, which should save me a lot of money come winter. Plus, Winifred is welcome as are dogs (not that I would be getting one anytime soon, but at least I might meet some nice ones!)

So, perhaps some things in my life will be falling into place soon, and by October, I may be back in to a calm rhythm of work, school and movies...ah, that would be the life!

I'm back...for a while

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I was up at the cabin for Family Camp in West Denmark. I have signed on to create a funkier website for it, so I will let you know when that is done so you can check it out and give me feedback.

The sad news right now is that my computer is on the fritz. I am going to see if there are any updates I can get and then see if any of my computer geek friends can help, before having to send it away to Florida, where I bought it from.

Last night CordeliaKnits left and I was immediately sad, which, as our mother pointed out, is silly since I will be seeing her in a little less then four weeks when we go to...

MICHIGAN!!

I am very excited to be back at Brother Sun, but I am currently trying to stay in the moment. I will be moving in to a studio apartment (hopefully) about two weeks after I get back from fest, so I need to be as prepared as possible before I leave!

p.s. I will try to get some pictures up soon, I am hoping to get some of the ones my sister took at fam. camp.
